The book I have chosen to read is about a girl named Beatrice Hartley and her five best friends. Beatrice and her friends are known as popular and cool kids at their local high school. Until one day suddenly someone in their group named Jim dies. Not only was Jim one of the friends in their inseparable group he was Beatrice‘s boyfriend. As time went on Beatrice does not know the reason for Jim‘s death and the thought of not knowing kills her.

Hadlee Fleischhauer After graduation, the group of friends decided to meet up, and have a fun night as they used to back in high school. Beatrice thinks that her friends might know more about Jim‘s death than they say they do. The friends reunite and it is like the year gap never changed their friendship they all shared. Until the next morning when they all woke up to a man at the door. 4y
Hadlee Fleischhauer This is as far as I have got into the story, but I am excited to read more and hopefully find out about Jim‘s death and the secrets the friend group has tried to keep from each other. I would give this story a ⅗ because I have not finished it yet, and some parts are a bit confusing to grasp, but I am still excited to see how the author unfolds the rest of the book. This book is written in first person, from the point of view of Beatrice. 4y
Hadlee Fleischhauer This book is written in first person, from the point of view of Beatrice. We know that this book is established and written in first person because the author uses the words “i” “we” and “our” quite frequently in this novel. The author also explains the way Beatices sees opportunities and how she overcomes conflict. This book is about Adam and Mia‘s life and how dramatically it changed over the course of three years. After Mia‘s devastating accident took place where she lost both her parents and brother, she got accepted to Juilliard. Mia decided to move on with her life and go to Juilliard to pursue her cello playing. Not only did she totally forget about the old life she had, but she also moved on from her boyfriend Adam that helped her with the accident.

Hadlee Fleischhauer Adam is currently making very successful music with the help of his girlfriend Bryn. Even though it has been three years since the two have talked or seen each other Adam knows that if Mia‘s accident never happened he wouldn‘t be the successful musician he is today. One day Mia‘s best friend tells Adam Mia will be performing so Adam goes to watch her. Adam and Mia meet up and start to explore the town Mia is currently living in. 4y
Hadlee Fleischhauer I haven‘t read anything passed this part but I am excited to see where it will go between Adam and Mia. I think the theme of this book is “if you love someone let them go.” If the person you let go is truly right for you, they will come back. This is a very important lesson to many readers because if something is meant to be it will be. If you enjoy books with a romantic history behind the characters you will enjoy this story. 4y
